Asisa Skin began with a deeply personal challenge faced by one of the founders. Starting with the manifestation of a hereditary condition that caused severe swelling of their ankles and lower legs, often becoming much worse during the warmer months of the year. This condition not only affected their physical health, but also impacted their confidence and daily comfort.

Determined to find a solution, the founders embarked on an exhaustive search for a product that could alleviate these symptoms and scoured papers researching the best topical applications. However, the products recommended to them were either ineffective or provided only minimal relief. Disappointed but not disheartened, they realised that the available skincare products lacked the efficacy and quality necessary to make a real difference.

This frustration led the founders to ask: what would it take to make something bespoke to solve the problem and fill the gap in the market with their own product? They found themselves in a unique position, as they found their location in Tasmania to be a treasure trove of natural resources that could elevate their skincare creations to unparalleled quality.

Tasmania, renowned for its pristine environment and purest ingredients, offers an abundance of unique botanicals and minerals. In particular this applies to the unrestricted access to Tasmanian spring water, known for its purity and rich mineral content. The founders integrated the spring water into their formulations as a major ingredient, using it to enhance the efficacy and soothing properties of their products. By researching and harnessing the island's natural bounty they create skincare solutions that not only alleviate swelling and inflammation, while showcasing their commitment to high quality and sustainability, but also showcase the extraordinary benefits of Tasmanian ingredients.

Each Asisa Skin product is a testament to the founders' commitment to natural, ethical, and conscious production methods. They wanted every step of their production process to reflect their values and commitment to sustainability. By overseeing every aspect of production, testing the products themselves they ensure that Asisa Skin creations are not only effective but also kind to the planet and its inhabitants.

Asisa Skin is more than just a skincare brand; it is a manifestation of the founders' vision to help others through their research and share products that are of uncompromising quality and are the results of thoughtful, ethical production. Their story is a reminder that sometimes, the best solutions come from personal challenges and a relentless pursuit of excellence.

A DIFFERENT APPROACH

Future-proof your skin

Children of the late 20th Century were told to cleanse, tone and moisturise. This method isn't effective skincare, yet many brands still cling to these outdated practices. Our methods mean you don’t need to strip and soak your skin with chemicals.

At Asisa, we've completely transformed the traditional skincare regimen. We suggest using blends of our cleansing and treatment oils and serums. Our cutting-edge products are crafted to nourish your skin and repair the damage caused by years of improper skincare, ensuring your skin is resilient and protected against environmental and ageing factors.

TASMANAN INGREDIENTS

Found in nature

Where is this nature? Our ingredients are predominantly sourced locally to the founders from within their small island state of Tasmania, located to the South of Eastern Australia. An island known for its pure waters, clean air, and organic produce.

We know our producers and have access to native ingredients, both foraging and sourcing, unique flora and botanicals. Our aim is to develop formulas that nourish, care for, and support the skin in the most pure, straightforward, and effective way possible.

Sustaining a clean brand

At Asisa, sustainability is a top priority for us and we are committed to minimising our environmental impact. Our focus extends beyond sustainable packaging; we strive to minimise secondary packaging wherever feasible. Our packaging consists of over 95% glass and metal, avoids unnecessary secondary packaging, such as individual boxes for each product, and we opt for biodegradable cardboard boxes and paper packing materials for shipping.

We know there is an environmental impact that results from every package we send out. This awareness drives us to emphasise buying refill packages, subscribing to three-monthly supplies, and larger bundles from our core offerings, thus reducing the frequency of shipments and their associated environmental costs.

We also offer the opportunity to carbon-offset your purchase as an in-cart selection.
